I managed to get some photos of scotty (scotexcited, puppies father) he isnt very photogenic.
Scotty has a few puppies racing and the are doing very well!
exciting kyle- 14 starts 7 wins 2 seconds 1 third (now a top class dog)
duke of fern- 2 starts 1 win
ohoka bella- 5 starts 1 win
ohoka ben- 13 starts 2 wins 3 seconds 2 thirds

with several more named and ready to start racing!

new run

today we built a new run for the puppies, its about 23 metres round. we needed somewhere for the puppies to go during the day as they are too bored in the whelping box and run away when we have them outside.

We let the puppies out for the first time we set up a couple of fire guards in the sun and took the puppies out, however the sun moved, so we moved the run and the puppies. Then 5 minutes later the sun moved again. Thepuppies were getting too cold in the shade so we carried them to a new spot without the fire guard. the all huddled up at mums feet because she was picking them up and putting them in her jersey. they werent out for very long though.

first meal

The puppies had their first meal of milk and chicken. They all loved it but Lilly did the most, she cleaned up both bowls of it!!
Puppies are now getting a small meal twice a day. they love scrambled eggs with milk!
